Privacy Policy

How we handle website, inquiry, scheduling, and marketing information with a client-control operating model.

Last Updated: May 16, 2026

Effective Date: May 16, 2026
Entity: Altus Landing Consulting LLC
Websites: altuslanding.com and operations.altuslanding.com

This Privacy Policy explains how Altus Landing Consulting LLC, doing business as Altus Operations ("Altus Operations," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, shares, and protects information through this website, our contact forms, newsletter signup, scheduling tools, and related marketing communications.

Our service model is intentionally designed around client control. In the ordinary course of our consulting and implementation advisory services, we do not retain client legal files, client operational records, or confidential business data. Clients select, own, host, control, and remain responsible for their own systems, vendors, infrastructure, and business information.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect information that you voluntarily provide to us, including your name, firm or company name, email address, phone number, role, website, message content, newsletter preferences, scheduling details, and any other information you submit through a form, email, Calendly-style scheduling tool, or similar communication channel.

We may also collect limited technical and usage information automatically, such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, referring pages, time spent on the website, cookie identifiers, and analytics or advertising interaction data.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to respond to inquiries, schedule consultations, provide requested resources, send newsletter or blog updates, improve website performance, understand audience interest, measure marketing effectiveness, protect the website, and communicate about Altus Operations services.

We do not sell personal information in the ordinary meaning of selling a customer list for money. If analytics, advertising pixels, or similar tools are used, certain privacy laws may treat some sharing for cross-context advertising as a "sale" or "sharing." Where required, we will provide applicable choices or opt-out mechanisms.

3. Newsletter and Marketing Communications

If you subscribe to receive insights, newsletters, or updates, we may use your email address to send operational intelligence, AI implementation content, service announcements, and related communications. You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.

By submitting your information, you agree to receive communications from Altus Operations. You may unsubscribe at any time. Do not submit confidential client or matter information through this website.

4. Contact Forms and Scheduling Tools

If you submit a contact form or book a meeting, we use the information you provide to evaluate your inquiry, schedule calls, prepare for the conversation, and follow up. Scheduling may be handled through third-party providers such as Calendly, Google Calendar, or similar tools, subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

5. Cookies, Analytics, and Tracking

We may use cookies, pixels, analytics tools, and similar technologies, including Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar services. These tools help us understand website usage, improve content, measure campaigns, and serve or evaluate advertising. You can usually control cookies through your browser settings. Some features may not function properly if cookies are disabled.

6. Consulting Engagements and Client Data

Altus Operations provides consulting, operational blueprinting, workflow architecture, AI implementation guidance, and done-with-you support. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, we do not host, retain, operate, or control client business records, law firm files, legal matter information, or confidential operational data.

For done-with-you support, clients may grant temporary access to their systems. Such access is intended to be limited, revocable, and used only to assist with the agreed scope. We do not intentionally store client credentials. Clients are responsible for granting, monitoring, limiting, and revoking access within their own environments.

7. Third-Party Providers

We may use service providers for hosting, analytics, email delivery, CRM or lead management, scheduling, cloud services, payment processing if applicable, AI tools, and operational software. These providers may process information on our behalf or under their own policies. Examples may include Google, OpenAI, Anthropic/Claude, Meta, CRM providers, hosting providers, email platforms, automation tools, or similar vendors.

8. AI and Automation Tools

We may use AI and automation tools internally to assist with drafting, analysis, workflow planning, research organization, and operational recommendations. We aim to avoid submitting sensitive client confidential information into third-party AI systems unless authorized by the client or necessary for the agreed scope. Clients remain responsible for reviewing AI-related outputs before operational, legal, compliance, or business reliance.

9. How We Share Information

We may share information with service providers, professional advisors, business operations vendors, analytics and advertising partners, and authorities where required by law. We may also disclose information to protect rights, safety, security, or the integrity of our business and website.

10. Data Retention

We retain website, inquiry, scheduling, marketing, and administrative information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Newsletter subscribers remain on our list until they unsubscribe or are removed.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we handle. No website, email system, cloud provider, AI tool, or internet transmission is guaranteed to be completely secure.

12. Your Privacy Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of certain personal information. You may also have rights to opt out of certain targeted advertising, sale, or sharing activities. To exercise privacy rights, contact us using the contact information below.

13. California and Other U.S. State Privacy Rights

Residents of California and certain other states may have additional rights regarding personal information. These may include rights to know, access, correct, delete, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and opt out of certain sale, sharing, or targeted advertising practices. We will respond to verified requests as required by applicable law.

14. International Visitors

If you access the website from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other jurisdictions. Where applicable, users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or similar jurisdictions may have additional privacy rights under applicable data protection laws.

15. Children's Privacy

This website is intended for business and professional audiences. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

16. Changes to This Policy
